Submitting a Nomination

AASLH encourages organizations and individuals to nominate or self-apply for the national Leadership in History Awards.  A nominee does not have to be an AASLH member to apply and self-nominations are encouraged (except for the Individual Achievement category).

If you would like to nominate an organization or person for a Leadership in History award, then complete a Leadership in History Online Nomination Form.

1. Step One: Download and read the nomination instructions for the project you are submitting:

2. Step Two: Find your State or Regional Rep and contact them to discuss the nomination:

Download the State Leadership Team list.

3. Step Three: Submit your nomination form online.

Note: You will need to create a unique user name and password as part of the submission process. You can save and return to complete/review the form.


DEADLINE: Submissions must be received by March 1 of each year.

Do not send nominations to the AASLH office.
